Dynalist update
2/14/2018
Dynalist is on the home screen of my iPhone. I like Dynalists' sync with Google calendar, because on the backend I sync TheBrain 9 to the same calendar. Items with dates and notes created in Dynal...
Great use case -- thanks for sharing. I pretty much avoid software these days that does not support item links (custom URLs) that allow directly linking between a note / task / document / whatever f...
Folders are tags, or tags are folders. (As also implied in the Guardian column @rogbar quoted). Not a bad idea. Tinderbox produces the same kind of view in its attribute browser. It's a popular ...
Ken's post and others reminded me of a couple of once-popular organizing approaches from the pre-digital world. Tickler files (or folders or even just a deck of index cards). In this scheme, one ke...
You write tasks / appointments on the transparent notes and reposition them on the diary as needed -- the grid shows through so it's not hidden.

I agree entirely. Chronesthesia, prospective memory, memory of the future, etc. Physically writing something down is the best way to put something into future memory. Digital planning just doesn'...
There are smaller-format (1" square) stickie notes available.
I'd also suggest the Kokuyo Jibun sticky notes and their sticky to-do notes. Available at a reasonable price from JetPens (and others)

SheetPlanner 1.0

Peter -- looks cool. Also looks a lot like a "standard" project planning tool -- MS Project, Merlin Project. I don't see anything in the screen shot that I cannot do in MS Project. (Believe me, M...

There's a Windows version. I have it running on a Windows 10 machine.
Rather buggy and horrible UI & navigation. But it works.

Recent versions of macOS include Night Shift, which is very similar to fLux. I used fLux for years before Night Shift came along, and agree with Andy that the effect is very useful.

Bill thanks for the info on Pagico 8
I downloaded it to trial. Since I had once trialed Pagico 3, long deleted from this machine, the new download sensed that and would only grant me a one-day "exte...

I started down the same path, but in reality the limit is just terminology. Change the headings and names for several UI elements and nothing else and Findings is a fine general purpose notebook. ...
