Thank you Alexander. Aeon, on Mac, is very good product for planning writing—fiction or not. The iOS app (not cheap) is pretty good. It does not export timelines—but the sort of exports that Aeon supports on the desktop might not be suited to iOS. I’m not sure. Both desktop and iOS apps sync nicely with one another via iCloud or Dropbox.

I’m finding Aeon on iOS on iPad to be an interesting special-purpose note taker when reading history books or articles. The book on one side in Kindle and Aeon on the other side of the screen.
