Need a memory jog 1/23/2026
No, it didn't. I guess because it was marketed to lawyers, it was expensive for the time. PC-Outline was also a very good outline lost in the mists of he past. Jon

NoteMap! I remembered. Jon
Need a memory jog 1/22/2026
Does anyone remember a long discontinued Windows outliner that was quite expensive and marketed primarily to lawyers? Not EccoPro or anything like that. Just an outliner. I think the company that acqu...
WhizFolders 1/15/2026
Unfortunately no. Sanjay stopped development a couple of years ago and moved on to other things. It is a shame since I happily use WhizFolders almost every day. Why do you ask? Jon
OmniOutliner, a second look at story grids 10/7/2025
InfoQube is a very adaptable and feature rich program. After seeing what I can do with it, several Mac acquaintances installed it exactly as Pierre suggested. These are hard core Mac users who report ...
Using Zoot for email 12/9/2024
Don't know much about Zoot except that it is quite complex and that many users swear by it. I have trialed it from time to time and find it daunting but intriguing. Not to complicate your selection pr...
Ultra Recall's Future 11/4/2024
There was a discussion a long time ago about implementing a second tree view. I don't know how or why I would use it, but there are workarounds that accomplish similar things. Jon Daly de Gagne wro...
Ultra Recall's Future 10/28/2024
It's up against formidable competition, but it remains an excellent, bullet proof and versatile application. I rely on this and InfoQube for information management. UR is still being developed but in...
PC OUTLINE 8/14/2024
Thank you for mentioning this. Never heard of it and on your suggestion, read a sample and bought it. Jon Stephen Zeoli wrote: I don't know if you have a deep enough familiarity with the works of >G...
Outliner where you can preset color/formatting based on level 11/13/2023
The output look very similar to the html export in NoteCase Pro. Jon Lucas wrote: Ah, I found it, thanks to Pierre's old list of outliners. The one I was >thinking of is Buzz: > >https://buzz.source...

HostPapa i.e. "ConnectedText" 4/5/2023
Speaking for myself, I've had enough. Can't 22111 be stopped from posting? His rambling postings range from moderately useful to offensive. His arrogance is insufferable and nobody here (intelligent p...
HostPapa i.e. "ConnectedText" 4/5/2023
Wow. We should be as magnanimous to each other every day. I found the comments offensive and they were not directed to me. Jon Amontillado wrote: Dear 22111, > >I clearly have a writer's thick skin ...
50% deal off Scrivener for the next few days 2/28/2023
Not my intention. Still, it seems a shame to murder so many electrons. Jon
50% deal off Scrivener for the next few days 2/28/2023
To Andy: I've noticed an increase in the use of "lifetime" when referring only to a major version. This is potentially misleading but the developer probably means that you have the version for life w...
50% deal off Scrivener for the next few days 2/28/2023
Andy, I think Scrivener is doing exactly the same thing. The "lifetime" deal is for version 3, so if you want to upgrade to 4, you pay for the new version. At least that is how I am reading it. Jon
MyInfo 8.0 2/24/2023
Well, if you say you can use read-only, there is an option to export as a web site. Easily readable in a browser. Attachments are part of the export. Jon rafael costacurta wrote: I’ve looked i...
Outliner that allows you to work per hierarchy level 2/17/2023
I see. I think InfoQube can be set to do this, although Pierre would have to advise. Jon

Outliner that allows you to work per hierarchy level 2/16/2023
You are referring to hoisting, I think. There are so many tools that have that function. InfoQube, RightNote, Whizfolders, NoteCase and Brainstorm are among some that quickly come to mind. More visual...
XYplorer Black Friday Sale 11/25/2022
I too use XYplorer. The site gives you a list of its features which, for my purposes, are comparable or better than others. It has become indispensable for my workflow and I recommend it as well. If t...
By WHAT do you (in parallels) structure? (woof-woof!) 10/24/2022
Agreed that SQL lite is not ideal, but know that I have successfully merged databases in excess of 1.5 GB in Ultra Recall. UR continues to function well for me. Jon 22111 wrote: >We all know that o...

Full-featured outline view added to FastMindMap! 10/3/2022
Interesting. Tried it out and wanted to take advantage of your coupon code. Seems that the code is applied after you make payment. That does not seem right to me. Can you please tell us how the code a...
