Have people had positive experiences using Zoot to handle their email? I have a large backlog in Thunderbird and am thinking of moving it to Zoot to take advantage of the program's tagging and foldering features.

Don't know much about Zoot except that it is quite complex and that many users swear by it. I have trialed it from time to time and find it daunting but intriguing. Not to complicate your selection process, but Ultra Recall will import mbox and msg files. Not sure, but I think Thunderbird uses one of these formats or can export to them.
