Personally, I leverage the backup functionality. Backup daily with Export backup to markdown ticked. I occasionally rename the folder with the date in the name.

Export is easy. I'd suggest creating some of the most complex notes you think you would ever write, export them in markdown and then import them into whichever alternative seems best at the moment. (...

I'm just adding my farthing's worth. I tried it today. Initially felt okay.
But crashed quite often - despite my barely doing anything.
And only one tile style didn't glare in dark mode. Fundamentally...

My eyes are very sensitive to glare from the screen. I can cope with light mode for only a limited amount of time. A dark mode with large areas of white is unusable. It used to be common for programs ...
With all the praise for TheBrain, I thought I'd try it again. Uninstalled it in less than five minutes. No decent dark mode, antiquated interface.
What I find most interesting about that review is that none of the programs are mentioned in Stephen Zeoli's thread.

Canvas' big advantage is that it's linked and incorporates files and saves itself into files.

Anyone know what advantages it has over Obsidian's Canvas?

Just to say that the latest update to WM3 came out in January.
Works well for me.
I'm all in favour of developers contributing, replying, announcing so long as it's clear who they are. That just improves everyone's understanding.
I'm not sure why Scrivener is offering a discount. ...

I don't mind hype. Makes it easier to learn about something I'm interested in. Nor do I mind paying for earlier access. My original post about their launch strategy was in context of a post questionin...

Absolutely. The end user advantages (if you choose to call them that) are only early access, a guaranteed...

That's fair enough, but it's more stable than Logseq and doesn't have the breaking changes of Obsidian.
