InfoRapid KnowledgeBase Builder 1.0

Thanks for this, looks interesting. I had a very quick look. I was looking for something similar a year ago for modelling a network in 3D.
But this doesn't seem to be quite what I had in mind. I'd p...

It's an interesting question as to what "nimble" means in this context. It might be subjective. It could refer to...
P.S. and ignore all the marketing hype about the "Timeline View." The outliner can be used wholly independently from the Timeline View, no knowledge of the latter is necessary to use the former. It's ...

Well, if you like Notemap, then Outline 4D should work for you, as it's based on the same principle: single-pane outliner with inline notes. Check out my r...

Scrivener for Windows. After its latest update it got a lot more nimble. You can select which nodes to export ("compile", as it's called in Scrivener), and you can format the text....
I've been fairly happy using the free WordExpander, however in some situations it does seem to slow down to the point of not being usable. It seems to be some sort of a conflict with another software...

Hm, it does start A LOT more quickly. So far so good.
Scrivener for Windows 1.2.1.0

I see Scrivener 1.5.3.0 was released yesterday: http://www.literatureandlatte.com/scrivWinChangeList.php
Some of the more interesting enhancements:
OPML Import
OPML export
Mind map import (Freemind ...
P.S. I wonder if it would be possible to use an AutoHotkey script to implement Scrivener for Window’s “Split with selection as title (Ctrl+Shift+K) feature in MemPad or The Guide... That w...

But mouse drag-and-drop can do it, so I can live with that. Thanks again!

Thanks for the TreeProjects suggestion, I should try it again.

To put it another way, what's the simplest, lightest, nimblest two-pane outliner/notes organiser out there?
I'm specifically talking about one that has got a tree structure (as opposed to tags only,...
I'm still looking for a lightweight two-pane outliner for storage and quick organisation of textual fragments. The main criteria are that it is easy to add a new item (ideally single keystroke, such a...

EndNote update!

Thanks for the heads-up. I'm not a fan of EndNote for various reasons, but I can't be bothered to switch for now, so this iPad app is useful.
At the moment it sells for USD1.00, so it's worth getting...
