I can only comment on the version of MyBase about 2 years ago when I switched to UR. The main reason was that UR offered much more customization, custom attributes/templates/saved searches/forms/... b...

UR should be able to do all you require. Plus I find invaluable that it now offers NEAR search.
Say I'm looking for items that talk about default probability, the standard AND search returns hundreds ...

PB was probably still running on background (by desing), did you check tray icons? If not, next time just press ctrl+alt+del and kill the process, you'll save yourself some time typing incredibly long...
