You can now recover deleted data by accessing your project’s version history. Simply browse previous versions, and select a snapshot to restore to.

Tag management is here to help you organize and prioritize tasks! Simply type # to select from a list of previously used tags or create new ones on the spot!


⚡️ Markdown Support in Chat/Comments
You can now type in markdown in both chat messages and comments! Click here to view our supported markdown formats.

⚡️ Import Markdown
You can now import markdown into Taskade. Click on Import in the new project drop-down menu and choose Markdown.


⚡️ Sort Project
Sort an entire project by the completion status, alphabetical order, or due date. Simply click on the more menu next to the project title.


⚡️ Add Notes
Add notes below your tasks to include more information. Use the Shift + Enter shortcut to add a note and Press Enter Twice to resume adding tasks.


⚡️ Add Task Above or Below
We made it easier to click and add tasks above or below any existing tasks.


⚡️ Add Blocks Anywhere
Mouse over to add new blocks between any existing blocks.

I'm fairly sure I hadn't configured Taskade to Start At Login (an app preference instead of the standard Login Item in macOS System Preferences) so I was pretty surprised this morning to see it pop up and ask me to log into my account.

I *might* have accidentally configured that setting, but if I hadn't Taskade shouldn't make it the default.

Thanks for the feedback! You can toggle it in the mini-tray or menu bar for the desktop app. I will share this with the team.

He points out that it's really oriented toward group work, and his main complaint is the lack of Quick Add tasks.

My personal feeling is that, in order to qualify as a legitimate contribution to this forum, a post from a developer who is promoting their own software should go beyond merely copying and pasting marketing materials. The post should be written specifically for this forum. Thanks!

I agree with Lucas. Users of Taskade can easily get software updates from the usual channels. I can see posting some important new OUTLINING features here in this forum, but it shouldn't be a dumping ground for every minor update. Also, it seems to me that there is generally little interest in discussing Taskade outside of this particular thread, which says something about the relevance of this software to this forum.

Some people can't take a hint...

Speaking for myself, I like to see updates on from the developers. And John from Taskade has done what we've asked of developers, which is to just update a single thread, rather than posting a new thread for each update. Anyway, that's my 2 cents.
