Taskade is a bit like Dynalist but much more minimal and focused on task lists. They don't currently have mobile apps but it says they are "coming soon." Seems primarily targeted at sharing simple to do lists with people, but seems to have the potential to grow into something more. Bookmarking to keep an eye on:

Thanks for sharing Taskade! Like you said, one of our main emphasis is on helping users focus, with minimalism and simplicity.

We are working on our iOS and Android apps right now. Would you like a beta invite?

If you have any other suggestions or feedback, please contact us at support@taskade.com

The taskade iOS app is out now. Still not for me, but worth a look.

Looks very clean and attractive, in a Things 3 way. Didn't see anything about pricing on the site or when googling, though....

i downloaded this since it was just a chrome extension, easy to test

it would be good if you making it could focus on features that add unique value for things that arent not out there

looks like i came across this in the past but the dev made basically the same thing under diff titles -- https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/taskade/hcobdfnjjaceclfdjpmmpiknimccjpmf/related

when other devs dont do it, and that's basically spam to me so i installed it

after installing i saw it required a login so i quickly uninstalled

no mentioning of this anywhere on the screenshots

or descriptions

again it would be good if you making it could focus on features or things that add unique value and helpfulness

Hi doablesoftware,

Thanks for giving Taskade a try, glad you felt our Chrome Extension is quite simple to get started with.
We also recently launched the Android and iOS app (https://taskade.com/downloads they sync in real-time with the desktop and web apps.

Here is our product roadmap, feel free to leave any suggestions and chat with us:
https://www.taskade.com/v/B1Q8lMxIfG

As for the extra extensions, it was an experiment we tried, we will remove them in the future.

Cheers

Curious, I downloaded Taskade onto my iPhone. The first thing it wanted was for me to Sign Up or Login. No demo, no explanation of what happens if I sign up. Nowadays I hate to give out even phony personal info without a reason, so I deleted the app. The pictures in the app store looked interesting, but unless there's a live demo or walkthru in the app, I don't have an appetite.

• New: Set Due Dates
• New: Add Comments

One feature I really find lacking in both the app and the roadmap is the ability to attach notes to individual outline items like you can in Workflowy, Outlinely, Dynalist, and Checkvist. I see "comments" there, but for me comments are about collaboration, while notes are very different, allowing one to include longform text in the item itself.
Luhmann 6/2/2018 5:23 am
After notes, my second biggest feature request would be to support Markdown formatted links like Dynalist and Todoist do. I use this feature all the time in both apps and it makes it very easy to share webpages to my outline without making them look cluttered. It also allows multiple links in a single item, which is sometimes useful.

Great observations and suggestions.

- We will improve the comment interface for longform text on Taskade.
- You can use the comment feature for notes, I do this often for personal lists.
- We plan to add image, file, and website attachments to comments, and this interface is by far the most flexible.

Thanks!

The comment interface is

Thanks and noted. Markdown is very useful, supporting it for web will mean we need to support it on mobile, becoming a larger project.

We will update our roadmap soon with more requests on https://www.taskade.com/v/B1Q8lMxIfG

I've been playing with it and the app looks *really* good so far. No crashes. Clean and attractive. Not positive yet I want to abandon my established workflow, but I already recommended for its collaboration tools it to a friend to use with her daughter who is starting college out of town.

Is that on all platforms? I have v.1 of the Mac app and when I clicked 'Check For Updates' I got a pop-up window saying "Current version is up-to-date." I then went to taskade.com, manually downloaded the Mac app... and saw it was the same v1.0 app.
