Does the outliner in the Mac version of MS Word have any significant capabilities that the Windows version lacks?
In some ways, Word's outliner is more powerful than any dedicated Windows outliner. I...

Wasn't hoisting in the tree promised for this version? Or is that wishful thinking?
Less than full rich text formatting. You can choose font, font size, bold, italic, underline, bulleted lists, numbered lists (numerous formatting options for these), indent, outdent, font color, and h...

So what constitutes "carefulness" in mouse scrolling? For the sake of avoiding *what* is care being exercised?
Microsoft Word Outlines

The only changes to the outlining function as such between 2003 and 2007 are cosmetic.
In answer to another question, both draft mode and normal mode exist in both the 2003 and 2007 versions.

I can replicate your success using the keyboard. (I'm not sure what you mean by "carefully." I find the only effective way to scroll is using the down arrow. Other than that, no additional carefulness...

I wouldn't recommend _buying_ it, but the problems you mention aren't necessarily a bar to using it. (I must grant, you were right previously and now when you say all development has stopped. This was...

After reading this, I turned off anti-virus and firewall protection without affective the problem.

Doesn't curiosity enter your deliberations, Jan? Is there a way to make accepting a Friend conditional on answering all questions? :)

Achieve Planner and GoalEnforcer Updated

My favorite project planning and task planning applications have received substantial upgrades this month. Achieve Planner is at 1.8.8. The 1.8 upgrade to Achieve Planner (http://www.effexis.com) focu...
I use many applications, to avoid boredom, but the dearth of software development--which I don't expect to change soon or even in the next few years--has let me distinguish core from optional applicat...
