Hi and thanks for reading my post!
I am considering buying TheJournal by www.davidrm.com/thejournal. It seems to do all I need, but before I commit, I wonder whether there might be something better (for Windows) out there. So far, to my surprise, I found nothing even remotely that good (considering my needs). The one app that came close was RedNotebook (https://rednotebook.sourceforge.io/
What I need is a calendar with one loose page for each day-something like the bottom two screenshots here: http://www.davidrm.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/TJ8-Themes.png
I don't need the type of calendar where you assign tasks to specific times of a day e.g. like in Calendarscope (https://www.calendarscope.com/screenshots/img/cs_scr_dayview_menu_b.png
Also for tasks not specific to a single day, I would like to use some tree node structure. TheJournal does this very well as shown here: http://www.downloadatoz.com/_imgbank/home-education/davidrm-software-s-the-journal/1151043355.gif
Please note, that the tree node (on the screenshot) only refers to the one tab which is activate on the right. Each of the other tabs has its own node tree. You can have multiple rows of tabs and they can switch you to another set of tabs! It works very well!!!
What TheJournal lacks is multi-parenting (one tree node attached to any number of other tree nodes). I just bought Ultra Recall and I am ecstatic about how well multi-parenting works in a database. Then I may not really need it that much in the calendar app. I would love it though :-)
Did anybody perhaps notice an app that would do what I need (see above) and maybe do it better than TheJournal, pls?
Many thanks in advance for any kind help!
Best regards,
karel

The Journal is a good app, although I'm not crazy about its editor.
Take a look at iDailyDiary. I believe it does most of what you're looking for:

iDailyDiary looks good, but it seems to only allow notes associated with a specific day and does not appear to have any kind of tree node structure for the notes.
I'm glad to learn about it though!

You can create undated pages. They call them "Sticky" tabs. They stay open and available whatever date you're on. You can create sections to store the sticky pages, but you can't nest the pages themselves to create a hierarchy.
See this screenshot to see how this works:

Don't know if this will help you, but MyInfo has a calendar and you can see when you have made entries for that date. It is pretty flexible and can easily (if I understand correctly) accommodate your needs.

Now I see it! Thank you :-) I actually had 2 Stickies created but didn't realize the function.

It isn't particularly intuitive, but once you get the way it works, it is pretty simple.

@ Jon Polish
Thanks for the tip :)
I checked MyInfo quite some time ago and found it really potent. Not exactly what I want, but certainly quite good.
