Be aware that Circus Ponies doesn't run on High Sierra
The import into Outline works very well - retains all the attachments and so on.
I also recommend Curio as a replacement - it's really very goo...

There have been quite a few references to Ecco Pro and I would support the idea that you take a good look at it. There are ideas and features in it that still, 20 years later, haven't appeared anywher...

For anyone still using CPN, it's not compatible with High Sierra/Mac OS 10.13. You can open a notebook, but there's hardly anything you can do that doesn't crash the application.
