Anytype.io
6/30/2023
I have looked at Anytype multiple times, but it is lacking a key feature that makes it unusable for me - I can't share my documents and templates with others like I can with Coda and Notion.
UpNote continues to improve
8/12/2021
I tested out UpNote a few months ago and it has become my daily notes tool, replacing OneNote. I did purchase the upgrade. I recommended it to one of my clients and she loves it as well.

I have been using UpNote for a couple of weeks now and am really pleased with the interface and features. I like the tagging and bidirectional linking features.

What I learned about collaboration

I went through a similar process and decided to use Facebook to share old photos I had scanned. Nearly everyone has a Facebook account and I didn't have to pay for hosting the photos.
Notion.io is my new favorite
6/17/2019
I use Notion every day.
While it isn't perfect, what I love about it is that it lets me create my own solutions for myself and my clients. I usually describe it to people as database meets wiki. I us...

Evernote raises prices
6/30/2016
Glad I switched to OneNote over a year ago. No desire to go back to Evernote at all.
I use Microsoft OneNote for web clipping. Lets me clip the whole page, portion of the page or just the article. Easy to add notes.
Abstractspoon's ToDoList

ASANA - any new reactions

I did extensive research on many task management systems including Asana and Teamwork.com was the winner for my needs.
After using it for nearly a year, I am very pleased with it.

I am not an Evernote fan (converted to OneNote) but I actually liked the feature where Evernote shows me some of my notes that match my search when I search Google. It didn't feel creepy to me, rather...

In Windows I use Skitch. Works well with a keyboard shortcut and I can easily add annotations before I save it.
What were they thinking at Asana?
7/14/2015
I find it really annoying when software companies drop features without consultation with users. I left Evernote because they did this multiple times.
Good support is critical when I choose an application. Like you, I send several support requests while testing to ensure the support team is responsive.
The task management system I use is Teamwork....
