I just learned about a new app called Flowedex. It needs more features to be fully useful, but its approach intrigues me. Basically you create note “flows” based on a topic. So you can create a flow for a project, then you just add notes to that flow in a scrolling page. These notes are separate documents, but you can read them as if they are one document. You can identify items in a note as todos, decisions or important. And the app is supposed to automatically identify people and places and other common subjects, so that you can find related notes across different flows.
It is missing the ability to add a PDF or other file, and it really needs a folder structure or some other way to classify flows because it seems likely that the app will become unwieldy when you’ve got dozens of flows in it.
But I’m going to keep my eye on it, because I like the idea of flows.
