XMind Pro will be featured tomorrow at Bits du Jour:
http://www.bitsdujour.com/software/xmind-pro-3/
The discount is significant: $49.00, 63% from $129.00.
XMind ( http://www.xmind.net/ ) is one of the newest generation of mind mapping programs, worth looking into. Its basic version is free / open source. It is multi-platform and web-aware, i.e it is easy to share mind maps.

I support Alexander's enthusiasm for XMind; however, it should be noted that the new Pro version is a subscription. The deal at BdJ is basically getting a three-year subscription for the price of one year.

Steve, thanks for the important clarification. I saw the price but missed what it meant --perhaps I should read the large print more carefully.
Indeed, Xmind's shift to a subscription-based business model was a reason that I didn't upgrade when version 3 came out, though in my new Linux setup it is a very powerful contender.
Nevertheless, given the limited longevity of much software I use nowadays, the BdJ discount is something to consider.

This interview with Xmind's developers published today on the Mind Mapping Blog is worth a read for people considering the BdJ offering:
