From the same mysterious people who develop Transno comes a new note app called Innos Note:
Here is what they say about it:
“We believe there should be an alternative to traditional knowledge management and content sharing, so we created Innos. Innos is designed to foster a culture of innovation, creativity, and connections. It equips curious minds with the right content creation tools to inspire and connect ideas.”
Its got the now-common block-style content building pages, but seems to want to be able to present related content in parallel pages.
It is a little baffling to me. I’d be curious to learn what others think.

It’s an interesting idea. I like the fact you can have multiple pages open and slide horizontally between them, simultaneously viewing two pages at a time (although you can have many more open). Takes a bit of getting used to! Reminds me of Andy Matuschak’s Notes (https://andymatuschak.org/), but with the added advantage of a search function.
Much will depend on how it evolves. I’m not really interested until desktop/mobile apps are available, but others may enjoy the online facility.

It’s heavily inspired by Craft, but takes the concepts in a new direction (not unlike Gingko, too).
I’m quite impressed!

Interesting indeed.
The CPU and GPU both however jump to 50-90% while scrolling and idle at 50%. Needs serious optimisations…

Yes, Craft plus their Transno graph + other niceties.
But Craft data is offline-first, and they spent a lot of time working on the issues of privacy and data portability.

Transno and Innos are both server-centric, yes? Its owner Lark is a subsidiary of ByteDance, and although Lark is based in Singapore, ByteDance’s ownership is problematic. This past May the Cyberspace Administration of China (CAC) stated that companies including ByteDance had engaged in illegal data collection and misuse of personal information. (Though to be fair they also dinged Microsoft and Baidu’s browsers as well.)
So while I enjoy viewing TikTok videos (with an account using a burner email address), I don’t know if I’d feel comfortable with my data sitting on servers ultimately controlled by Bytedance.
