Eduard has let us know that the MacOS version of NP 2.0 will be released before the end of the month. The improvements look fantastic. You can read more about them and request a preview here:

I requested a preview. It is an app that I would like to use, but version 1.0 did not quite make it for me.

I wonder if it’s going to be a free Mac App Store upgrade for current users; I just bought it two months ago….

Interesting horse race developing now between NotePlan 2 and what I assume will be Agenda 6. NotePlan upping the ante with improved design and tweaks, and Agenda coming along (allegedly) with ability to create and add notes to reminders in addition to events (as in Agenda 5.5).

... with NotePlan very slightly ahead of the game because you can open notes in separate windows (a much-requested addition to Agenda which is, for what I gather are programming reasons, unlikely to appear anytime soon). Having said which, Agenda 6 looks very interesting. But NotePlan 2 also looks tasty!
