It has been two years since the last udpate to NeO, but I noticed on MacUpdate that a small update was available today (it hasn't shown up yet on the App Store). Here's the MacUpdate link:

Oddly enough, I just checked to see if D-Lit was back on line about a week ago, and I did see that it was updated in 2017. I hope he will continue to update it. The last few versions I used several years ago couldn't displace OmniOutliner in my workflow.

I just sent him a message inquiring about Neo's future and he sent me a sign of life...but no reply.

I just updated it. Now to see how it gets along with Catalina.

Did you eventually receive a reply from the developer, MacSE?
The latest update on the Japan Mac App Store was two years ago for version 1.1.1.
I am thinking of purchasing Neo. Does it work with Catalina?

I have been in contact with him almost since I bought Tao in 2006...
I just sent him another message inquiring about the future of the app.

Thanks for the heads up, MacSE.
I look forward to hearing what the developer tells you. :)

NeO not working very well in Catalina. A lot of graphical issues.
