I see that Skywatcher mentioned this app in the poll thread I started, but other than that I don’t think it has had much attention here, so I thought I’d start a new thread about it.
I just watched a ScreenCastsOnline tutorial for Sorted 3. It looks very interesting, kind of a cross between Things 3 and OmniFocus. Currently it is only available for iOS devices, but a MacOS version is in the works and the developer has plans for Web and Android versions.
It uses folders, lists and tags for organizing tasks and appointments, but it also has an auto schedule feature to help you plan your days. I know some of you were looking for that feature from an earlier thread.
I am impressed with the way you can create very nice notes for any task or event… sort of the way Agenda does, but on the task/event level. It has a 14 day free trial, which I’ve just started.
Does anyone else have experience using Sorted 3?

Thanks for this, Steve. It is something that I’m interested in, and I’m awaiting the macOS version. Whether it will then be polished and flexible enough to pull me away from my OmniFocus/Fantastical + index card combo, I’ll have to see.

I’m also waiting for the desktop MacOS version before really commiting to it. After years of experimenting with various GTD and productivity systems, I’ve pretty much come to the conclusion that time is a factor that should be taken much more in consideration. I found the so-called Parkinson’s law “work expands so as to fill the time available for its completion”” very much true in my case. Being in a creative field where working hours are not rigid , having a strong discipline in the use of the available hours of the day is primordial if one wants to accomplish anything and have a life at the same time. Having time constraints helps with perfectionist tendencies where you could easily spend a lifetime refining your creation and never deliver .
