I’ve always looked at the Mac with envy because of DEVONthink and Curio.
What incredible applications.
Which Windows program comes closest to Curio? OneNote, maybe?

Hi, Donovan,
OneNote would definitely be the closest thing to Curio for PC. Many years ago I wrote a review of Curio 6.4 for the now defunct site Mac AppStorm. I ended the review suggesting that Curio is the closest thing to OneNote for Mac (this was before OneNote was actually on Mac, I believe). Here’s what I wrote about the advantages of Curio over OneNote:
Beyond collaboration, though, Curio Professional has several advantages over OneNote:
1. Curio handles tables with much greater dexterity. (OneNote has gotten better since then.)
2. Curio has a mind mapping feature.
3. Curio has more robust task and project management features. (I think this is still true, though OneNote integrates with Outlook.)
4. Curio is more visually appealing.
5. Curio integrates well with Evernote.
6. Curio has the dossier feature. (This feature has been eliminated from Curio.)
7. Curio’s sleuth function makes it easier to capture information from the Web. (I imagine that OneNote has caught up to or surpassed Curio by now.)
Here’s the full review:

I also wrote a follow-up review of Curio when version 8 came out:
Curio has grown a lot since then, as has OneNote.

Curio should be one of my faves, but it just seems so complicated. Then I tried Notion. Now Curio seems much more manegeable.
