Might there be an outliner that has multiple columns? Kind of like Excel but with an outliner flavor.
Thanks.
Thanks.

There are a few, namely my own SQLNotes, which like Excel also supports equations (both row and column) and VBScript. Details at www.sqlnotes.net

Ecco Pro supports multiple columns and remains my favorite outliner by far, even though development ended years ago. (Works on XP -- not sure about Vista.)

Good suggestions. All excellent software, but not all are multi-column outliners
- URp and Zoot columns are not shown in the outlining tree
- MyInfo has limited support for columns in the tree
- Ecco is definitely a multi-column outliner (but does not support equations, unless you use EccoExt add-on). It is now totally free. It runs on XP and Vista 32bit. Starting with XP SP2, original installer will fail. Check out the Yahoo Ecco Pro group for alternate downloads

Following Pierre's clarifications, I'd also make a distinction between
(a) ouliners showing multiple columns in the outline and
(b) outliners whose records can have multiple attributes
In the case of (b) the choice is much greater. In addition to the ones mentioned, such as UltraRecall, I'd note that many mind mapping programs including Mind Manager and the open source FreeMind offer attributes.
