Which free Outlining website allows automatic external backup?

I started using Checkvist yesterday, but it doesn't allow automated backup in its free version. Which outlining website does?
I only need limited functionality - indenting, collapsible sub-sections, etc.
Thanks!
John

The pro version of Workflowy backs up to Dropbox daily.

So does Checkvist, of course.

Apparently the *free* version of Checkvist does not, which is why the original poster is asking this question.|
The free version of Dynalist doesn't offer automatic backups either.

Of course, as the OP already noted. However I was replying to another comment, about the Pro version of Workflowy. We're allowed to do that, I think. ;-)

I believe Gingko allow exports in the free version --- not the same as an automatic backup, for sure, but can serve the purpose if one pays attention.
@Sydney Nerd: Are you looking for "automatic external backup" because some other site failed to preserve your data -- or some other accident?

Perfect! That's what I'm after. Switching to Gingko now.

Outlining tools aren't what they should be, at least on Mac/IOS.
OmniOutliner has done well for me. I like the checkboxes and filters, and hoisting is a good thing.
Since IOS 12 came out, though, OmniOutliner has hit some snags. There was a bug that caused it not to expand the note window on IOS, so that when you wrote more than a couple of lines, the cursor was beyond the dimensions of the visible text window.
That's been fixed, but now I'm having trouble opening outlines stored in DevonTHINK To Go, and sometimes notes don't render correctly until the note is closed and reopened.
Tonight I needed to get an outline done for a short story I want to write. I wanted it to be portable and synced between my iMac and my iPad, so I fired up Pages. I haven't used Pages since a mail merge script I used got obsoleted in a Pages update.
As an outliner, it's primitive, but it works. The longest outline I've ever written ran about 7,000 words. I'd prefer some fancy features, but on the other hand, org-mode would be a good thing, too.
If only emacs were available on iOS.

Yeah, emacs or vi on a mobile.
It still make my ears bleed to hear this.
The programs optimized best for keeping your hands on the keyboard all the time now working on a device that has no keyboard at all. Whats next? Changing the voice activation from "Hello Siri" to "Meta-X".
Gives us a whole new nerd fun game: "Meta-X doctor, i feel bad today".
Whatever. You get my +1 vote for a real good port of emacs.

Ha! The lack of a keyboard didn’t even occur to me. Since my primary use for my iPad is mobile writing, I rarely use it without a Bluetooth keyboard.
For the moment, I remain disappointed in available outliners. On the other hand, I don’t do outlines for production, they are notes internal to my purposes.
Something shiny will come along soon, and all wil be right in the world once again.
