Reinvented Software just released version 1.4 of its note-manager app, Keep It, and it has two important improvements. First, Keep It now has a markdown note type. This is just basic markdown formatting of headings, lists and emphasis, but it is a useful step for those who want to use markdown formatting in their note-taking. Keep It now also allows you to encrypt your notes.

I've been impressed with Keep It and I'm starting to use it more often.
