This post falls into two categories: What's Become of It? and Where Has the Time Gone?

The people at Bitsmith Software have been blogging a lot lately about their venerable application Personal Knowbase. Recently they posted a 20th anniversary post, which some of you may find interesting:

PK is actually a pretty robust notes manager. It was one of the first apps I know of that relied on tagging for its organizational scheme -- although they called (and still do call) tags "keywords." The biggest problem with the app is that it is an island, without any inter-operability. Anyone okay with that would probably find PK a quite palatable application, even though it has a retro look and feel.
