Hi, all,

I just got a promotional email from Dynalist with a 50% discount for subscribing to a Pro account:

"To celebrate, Dynalist Pro is now 50% off with the code XMAS17. The code is valid until 11:59 PM EST on January 4, 2018 (2018-01-05 04:59 UTC)."

It says to share with friends.

Thanks for posting, Stephen. Do you know if this is for a limited time (e.g. 1 year) of for the life of the subscription?

Hi, Ken,

Looks like you can only subscribe for up to a year at a time.

They had a lifetime 50%-off **lifetime** offer that coincided with the introduction of the iOS app:

If they're not saying lifetime now then it's almost certainly only for the year.

This is as a demonstration of serious lack of marketing common sense; makes me wonder, when they play games, do they intentionally try to score against their own team?

Sorry, this may be partly off-topic, but such approaches have contributed to the non-viability of many good information management tools and services out there.
