This is a pretty key feature in most task management apps and one of the reasons I never got into WorkFlowy. Now, if they can add a global shortcut to the desktop app, they’ll really have something.

Starting at v1.0.40, the desktop app has a global shortcut (it’s the same one, default is Ctrl+Shift+I) for this. You can check the version in main menu (menu icon at the top right corner) - “About”.
