Just alerting everyone that InfoQube is now officially in beta (0.9.70). I know, I know, it has been in preview forever, but it is under constant development by an extremely responsive developer. If you like Ecco Pro (I do), then you will find IQ very familiar, but with some interesting enhancements and without Ecco’s limitations. It really is worth considering.

Thanks for the update. I give PPL credit for his ability to keep iterating and refining IQ. I wish I had the time to get over the learning hump and find the beauty that is IQ. It has now been a number of years since I used Ecco Pro and while the logic remains in my head, I have had to adapt my workflow to other programs.

Hi Outliners,
For those not following the IQ community forum posting, since Jon’s last post, more than 1 month ago, 3 major updates have been released. Other than bug fixes and minor improvements, the following new features have been introduced:
1- Grids now support Group-By. Outlook-like grouping with expand/collapse sections. Groups by one or more columns.
2- Gantt charts can automatically show a summary bar for each group (i.e. grouping by category or by worker). Bar can be moved to easily move all related tasks
3- Improved and simpler sorting of items in Grids
4- Formatting toolbar now updates to show item formatting
5- MapView is much more functional
6- Improved dialogs to add new items and new hyperlinks
7- Can now sync with multiple SQL databases
8- Better Unicode support

Does anyone know if Infoqube allow importing bibliographical data (*.ris or *.bib)?
