I don't recall this to do list manager receiving any mention before, so I thought I'd bring it to the forum's attention. Task Coach is a handy task organizer with a clean, practical interface. Here are the pros and cons as I see them:
Pros -
- "Composite" tasks. That is, tasks that have sub-tasks, viewable in the task tree.
- Assignment of categories to each task, along with significant dates and budget information.
- View tasks as trees (i.e. hierarchically) or in a flattened list that can be sorted by priority, due date, etc...
- Tabs for making separate views of tasks -- filtered by category, date, etc...
- Function to track time spent on tasks.
- Rudimentary notes function.
- Free
Cons -
- Currently no recurring task feature, but this is a planned addition.
- No sync with Outlook
If you're looking for a simple, but powerful To Do list manager, take a look at Task Coach:
