Stephen (or any other IQTell users),
Any more thoughts on IQTell after having used it for a month or two?

Hi, Ken,
I’m sad to say that my use of IQTell never got any traction. I suspect, as I usually do, that this is my deficiency, not the software. I remain impressed by the feature set, especially the ability to incorporate Evernote notes into the workflow. Perhaps I’ll poke around with it some more. Sorry I can’t be of more help.

Hi Steve,
Thanks for responding. Actually, your response is helpful. While I realize there are some program where it may be worth investing time to learn some of the more in-depth features, those programs usually are able to demonstrate what results you can get for your efforts. Programs that do not easily fall into that category and are a bit more intuitive can usually be evaluated on a trial basis for a few weeks. At that time, it usually becomes clear if the program can or cannot be successfully incorporated into a regular routine (to meet that specific user’s needs). I just spent a month with Todoist, and while it does have some issues that I find frustrating, I do find many features of it that are much easier to use than Toodledo, and in some case-specific uses, Asana and/or Trello. So, I suspect that I may be incorporating it as my personal mobile task manager as I just never found Toodledo that easy for quick entry and viewing. I will continue to use Asana for work project management unless they decide to take away the tagging feature that they have “grandfathered” in work areas that previously used it, but that now limits my ability to create functioning work areas for other projects.
Thanks,
—Ken
