I just stumbled across an intriguing note-taking app for iOS devices called Pendo. With it you create and write notes, then select the type: journal, todo, calendar, contact, and others. Anyway, there's a notation on the App store saying to write the developer and ask about iCloud syncing, so I did that and got this response back:
Begin quote:
haaannnng in there!
pendo owner is going thru some tough situatuion-just hit my own car wt my own car.
cloud sync is on the way, givmi some more time … a month or so⋯⋯
Yoo---Hoo!
:End quote
English is probably not his first language (though his English is far better than my any other language). But I thought this was worth sharing with the forum, since we often talk about responsiveness of the developers.
Also, and this is odd, iCloud syncing appears to work just fine, as my notes have stayed sync'd between my iPod Touch and my iPad, so I'm not sure what the deal is on that.

Pendo seems to have come a long way since 2015, including a Mac app and a number of new features. I'm not sure whether or not it is something I want to use, but thought I'd see if anyone on the forum is using it and what they do with it?

One issue for me is that I don't see any import/export options. That worries me...
