Index Card v4 for iOS will be available for sale on the App Store soon (Monday the 29th?) It is a "corkboard writing app" using, what else, the index card metaphor. I've been using it for several years and find it to be a light-weight outliner that's simple but seems to have a good set of features. (Alas, no folding, Bill.) The new version adds additional export options -- destinations and formats (RTF, TXT, OPML, PDF). There is also a feature to sync with Scrivener -- which I imagine will be OBE when Scrivener iOS comes to market.

Index Cards is a nice app, one I've admired without using it much. As you say, once Scrivener for iPad comes out, there may be no reason to use this app at all.
If I were the developer, I'd think seriously about repurposing it. That is, making it useful for more than writing stories. It could easily be converted to a handy information manager by adding some meta-data capability, such as dates and times, tags. Add due dates with iOS reminder integration. Set it up for different card types:
- Note
- Contact
- Event
- Task
With different meta-data fields for each. Something like that, anyway.

Steve, by the time you did all that to Index Card, you would have Tap Forms! LOL
