Growly Notes is a OneNote-style app for Mac. Now the developer has introduced a version for iPad. I haven't delved into it as yet, but thought other Growly Notes users might be interested.

Wow, and at first sight looks very good. Not least because it's one of the vanishingly small number of iOS apps that uses smart apostrophes/quotation marks by default. Very, very few other apps do that, even among the heavyweights.
The search function is rather impressive, too, although I haven't unleashed it on any really big data sets yet...
Cheers,
Bill

This is great news ... I love Growly Notes. (I love the idea of any program named "Growly").
But the iPad app is buggy in strange ways. PDF exports are single page and the right margins are clipped -- they're really not usable. And the app isn't using iOS share extensions -- so one needs to go through an export up to Dropbox or Google Drive then back down to another app on the iPad. The kind of round-tripping that went out with iOS 4. It's odd when a developer ignores one of the core features of iOS.
