Hi.

Might be interesting: http://prelaunch.airstory.co/

AIRSTORY IS HOW WRITERS CREATE OUTLINES

Import from Evernote
Capture clippings from the web
Add images, video, audio and text
Drag and drop cards to create an outline
Export to Word
Export to Scrivener (coming soon)

Tells you something about how ubiquitous Scrivener has become that Airstory feels that it must offer export in Scrivener format.

Looks lovely. And just proves what a crying need there is for an app version of Gingko.

On the face of it it looks interesting, but I'd need a bit more convincing that this is a genuine and sustainable software project.

There is not a lot of info on the website about the actual developers. If you dig a bit deeper, then it takes you to

http://copyhackers.com/about-copy-hackers/

and the people behind that seem to be web marketers (consultants, copywriters), not developers.

You should have posted your sign-up link! (I would have been happy to use it.) Looks interesting, as far as web services go.

Here is mine, for anyone who is interested-

Thanks,

Yeah, not sure yet if there's anything there that really stands apart from the crowd, adds new features, or improves usability.

Web clips index cards outlines

I like the ability to browse all your cards (from all projects) together.

It also appears they like tattoos...

Update on this - I got my beta invite a month or so ago and have used it for a couple of writing projects. I like the concept:
- left pane toggles between outline and full text
- right pane holds snippets (cards) that can be dropped into the outline or the text
- cards store citation info
- web clipper captures text or images from web pages into a card ( in a specific project) with citation.

Working in it is fairly fast and fluid. I like it. I have been doing writing outlining in workflowy but will probably move more over to airstory. Wish they had an iOS version (they say it's coming soon).
