Is there an easy way to link Word doc files to MI so that they open in Word windows?
I’m sure there must be and that I am missing something obvious, but….

Daly,
I just drag the Word doc onto the outline pane and a new item is created that has two tabs: one for notes about the item and one with the embedded file. If you click on the embedded file tab you get buttons which allow you to open the file in Windows for viewing (no editing) or opening for editing. But either way, the document opens in Word.
Alternatively, if you create an epmty item and drag the document into the editing pane, you get a link to the the document, which, when clicked, opens the document in Word.
Is this helpful, or was this already obvious and not really what you were asking?
