Hi, I have been using outliner “keynote” for awhile, however, I feel that it can be greatly improved by having an actual outline within the note section. As below images.

Any ideas which softwares similar to keynote, have this capabilities. Thanks!

If I understand you correctly you are looking for a single pane outliner? Just type “single pane” into the search box on the left and it will show you some past discussions with suggestions both for the Mac and Windows.

BTW, my favourite is Natara Bonsai. You can watch the screencast “Bonsai Desktop: Making Child and Parent items” over here:
http://www.natara.com/bonsai/ScreenShots.cfm
While the screenshots themselves don’t do a good job of showcasing its outlining capabilities (it’s marketed as a “to do” application), all the extra panes and columns can be turned off, and you will end up with a very clean interface that is essentially an outliner.

yah, I can only find single pane outliners that can do this.
but I really want a multi-pane outliner to have this feature as well.

Natara bonsai is a great software, it’s one of my primary outliners now.
I bought the desktop + palm version.
