Hi,
I am currently using Everdesk Optima for my daily routines (management of microprojects). It is a great app, but I’d like to have more “automation” options (like automatic archiving of mails, based on rules). And features to create virtual folders would be very welcome, as everyday I have to search through tons of mails).
I am testing Zoot 6 and it is exactly what I need. But this version is not stable, so it is not possible to use it in a productive environment (yet)
Would you know an organizer like Zoot, which is stable to use now?
I am digging for months and I have not found it
Any info will be welcome
Thank you and regards (and sorry for my English)
Jorge

The Bat! has virtual folders, but it’s an email client only.
Ultra Recall might become interesting in a longer time outlook after they implement scripting API in Python, so that you’ll be able to do any automatization you wish for. But still it will have no email capabilities, just mbx and eml import.

Hi Thomas,
Thank you for your information
I’ve already tried The Bat, but it was a long time ago. I will try it again.
I currently own UltraRecall, but, as you said, it depends on Outlook to send and receive mails. As my projects are basically structured over mails, it is not useful for this specific need. I did not know about Python, but as no-programmer, I think it will not be my solution.
As I said, Zoot would be perfect for me. I’d like to wait until it becomes stable, but unhappily, I do not have this time :o(

I’m trying The Bat! now. In my opinion their virtual folders are not as flexible as in Zoot, but it is the closest I’ve found.
So, until Zoot is in beta, I think I will use it. License price is fair and it is very fast (I am using Gmail Imap containing over 90,000 conversations)

Jorge
