http://www.inspiration.com. Go to tech support pg.
I have often spoken with I folk about usability improvements, including at least twice about joining. Maybe 8.0b has it?
One of my nephews had to use I in school and hated it.
I get the distinct impression that the “Rulers of I” are not much influenced by users’ suggestions.
Finally, for those latecomers, I imports and exports rather nicely, and does a pretty good job on importing exported GV files.
Here’s how:
To import a GV file into Inspiration 7.5:
In GV,
Expand the entire outline [“expand everything”].
Change the outline labeling to “Indentation w/no Labels.” [Outline=>Labels=>Get Style=>Indentation w/no Labels]
Mark (highlight) the entire outline
Export the file using the “Paragraph” export option.
Add the ” .txt” extension to the exported file name.
In Inspiration,
Open the exported file.
The Inspiration outline should have virtually the same structure as the GV outline, with perhaps only a little touch-up necessary.

Thanks for the announcement. Looks like Inspiration has added a mind-mapping view… interesting development, but I find myself uninterested in upgrading. I don’t know why.
