Hello everyone. I'm with MDash, a Markdown writing and notes app from an independent developer.

Notes stay as plain text on your device. No MDash account is required. Optional iCloud sync is part of Pro. Imports support Obsidian vaults, Bear backups, Apple Notes Markdown exports, TextBundle and folders of Markdown files.

The new free Books section organizes chapters into parts, with a status and word goal for each chapter. Notes & Research and Characters & places sit beside the manuscript without entering its word count or export. You can set a daily target, add comments and read the whole book in one scroll.

Free features include Markdown and plain-text export, on-device version history, full-text search and Mermaid diagrams rendered on your device. Pro adds iCloud sync, PDF, DOCX and EPUB export, and watermark-free diagrams. Current US Pro prices are $1.99 monthly, $9.99 yearly or $24.99 lifetime. One purchase covers iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch.

If you draft in Markdown on an iPhone, iPad or Mac, what would the Books view need before you'd move a manuscript into it?
