Seems like an anti-Readwise. Instead of reading and annotating with your brain, Recall reads and annotates things for you. I'm not sure how the ghost in the machine is better.

I tried Recall for a few months. It really does a nice job parsing articles and -- even more useful to me at the time -- videos. But I found the interface a little cluttered, so didn't really dig into it. I haven't used Recall for a while, so it may have improved in many ways. But it is not an app I now need. Worth checking out, though.

Wow, I remember Recall as a rather good Windows-based PKM system (well, more of a full-text database). I don't think this is related, however.
