thoughts on outlining and transclusion

I'm having tremendous fun with outlining via transclusion. By separating factoids from narrative, I seem to avoid a big trap.
If I outline in a traditional way, I tend to over-outline, completely killing my interest in the story.
I don't think I posted this here. If I did, please forgive the duplication. I'm not trying to sell anything. Excellent and idea-provoking article. Also, I enjoy watching William Gallagher's videos, too.
