thoughts on outlining and transclusion

I'm having tremendous fun with outlining via transclusion. By separating factoids from narrative, I seem to avoid a big trap.

If I outline in a traditional way, I tend to over-outline, completely killing my interest in the story.

I don't think I posted this here. If I did, please forgive the duplication. I'm not trying to sell anything. For anyone interested in the unschooled thoughts of an utter hack (me), I posted a description of my current favorite outlining technique on my woefully inactive blog - https://thirdreef.wordpress.com .

Comments, heckling, superannuated tomatoes - in order of preference - all welcome.

Excellent and idea-provoking article. Also, I enjoy watching William Gallagher's videos, too.
