The paid version of Upbase, which offers task and project management, including calendaring and file management, both on the web and mobile - and if you haven't checked it out, it's well worth doing so (upbase.io) - is now available for a lifetime discount ($49) at Appsumo (https://appsumo.com/products/upbase/ for a limited time only.
My personal impression of the application, like that of virtually all the reviewers on Appsumo, is extremely favorable - definitely worth checking out even if you're not obsessed with CRIMPing!

As it happens, we're looking to upgrade our own wiki/knowledge management system, so your reference to Upbase was very interesting.
But I was disconcerted to find that while Upbase has some very interesting features, it doesn't yet have a global/full-text search engine (although they are developing one).
That, for me, is a sine qua non, and I'm surprised it's not been a feature from the start (especially given the range of tools they offer). But perhaps that's just me!

I also found the lack of search capacity annoying, but (a) for a lifetime subscription at this price, carpe diem; (b) I use Upbase mainly for task and project management rather than for general information management, for which I prefer other programs and indeed consider them superior in this respect.

I suggest you take a look at coda.io. It is subscription-based, but you only pay for "Doc Makers", not editors or viewers. The value is very good as one scales up.

Hm, interesting. I hadn't spotted that pricing option (I'd been looking at the – rather expensive – Team option). Thanks for the reference.
We're also checking out a very new kid on the block, Phonemos (phonemos.com), which has many of the same features as our late lamented Kerio Workspace. Another nice touch is the fact that you can upload documents as "pages" (i.e. not just attachments).
But Coda is cheaper ;-)
Cheers!

Wow, I love Coda's search function! That's amazing!
Quite a complex piece of software otherwise, but that probably depends on how one sets it up.
