Saw this on HN and thought some of the hardcore CRIMPers and/or Obsidian users might be interested:

Nice! I like the Bruce Lee quote.

Obsidian, One Note, whatever you use for organizing knowledge makes you aware of epistemology, and that's a good thing even if the word sounds like an old guy's sneeze rumbling into vigorous phlegm evacuation.

It's hard to learn if you don't first learn how to learn.

A good primer on different ways to use Obsidian, or another notes archive of your choice, is at

Zsolt's visual presentation style is clear and engaging. After you've watched it, the choices in the opinionated way to use Obsidian will make more sense.

I have to say, it does sound a little overcomplicated to me.

My own setup is rather simpler – I won't say better, because that setup probably works extremely well for the author.

I'm still trying to work out how best to share it. I'll think of something!

It's interesting to hear how others work. That bit about tools shaping users is true. I think I get my best ideas for how to organize by getting a feel for common practices in tools I may never use.

True. I remember flirting with Moo.do (now Legend) and coming up with some organizational approaches I then applied to Workflowy, which I wound up importing to Dynalist. Right now, Obsidian seems to offer things I don't actually need, and Dynalist is covering what I do need. But I'm keeping my eye on it.
