I’ve seen those offers, and they remain to be present to this day, but at a price of $59 plus VAT, but anyway, whilst my Windows licenses all come with the respective hardware, my current MS “Office” subscription has been and is one of those “multiple corporate licenses then spread over multiple, individual re-sells” from the past (“2016” in my case)... and I just use Outlook, from that “bundle”... but then, try to buy Outlook…
I’ll probably need some “modern” hardware quite soon, my current desktop pc being from 2017 (i.e. i7.7) and with 16 GB of RAM, but considering the recurrent problems with the above-mentioned license kind, I would NOT “buy-then-shelf” since in-case-of, MS will invalidate your license, or what they will consider as “license, not valid”, just about 5 weeks after the install…
Your mileage may differ, as it almost always does, though.
