Okay, this is a bit silly, but after reading the rather amusing reasons why a journalist (who writes primarily about Apple) is sticking with Windows, a lot of which boil down to the fact that he can play around with PC hardware, I’m wondering if there’s an equivalent of CRIMPing for hardware?
What this has got to do with knowledge management – let alone outlining! – I’m really not sure…
Cheers!

CRIMP usually is an acronym (thanks to Steve Z) for “compulsive-reactive information management purchasing”
but surely could also be “compulsive-reactive injudicious machine purchasing”

Heh heh heh – I love GAS, but I like this option, too! “Injudicious Machine Purchasing” certainly describes some of the goodies still tucked away in my shelves somewhere (two Psion MX5s, anyone…? beautiful, beautiful machines and now totally useless!)
