Readwise is making their own reading app. For anyone trying to get stuff out of ebooks, articles, web pages, and PDFs into your outliner, I find Readwise indispensable. Having their own app should even further reduce any friction:

I recently subscribed to Readwise, and I am also looking forward to Readwise Reader. The Readwise team is very open to customer opinion suggestions. A great service. Now that they have an "official" Readwise-developed Obsidian plugin, too, the service fills a big gap for users of Kindle and Apple Books.
