I used to use Pixa on MacOS, but it stop updating for quite some time.
Would love to see if there's a replacement for Pixa that will allow me to collect inspirations / moodboards?
Thank you!

I just make private boards on Pinterest, which has clipper extensions for all browsers.
A more powerful option is Miro, which has a free tier (but only 3 Boards), and then gets pricey.

Hello,
I've tested/used Dropmark, Raindrop, Milanote, Ryeboard, Walling, Collaboard and Mymind.
For basic features, where the organization of the moodboard is automatic you could use Dropmark or Raindrop. They are bookmark managers, but highly visual and with good image management. They also have good free tiers (unlimited content). Raindrop has also drag and drop, so a little bit more control.
More advanced:
Milanote - probably the oldest so more polished and with more features that allow extra control of your moodboard
Walling - has a way of (re)organizing your content with included productivity features. The organization might speak more to a outline user (with walls, sections, bricks)
Ryeboard - new and relatively unknown, but I quite like their features and UI (re-usable content, a lot of options for visual organization)
Mymind - uses AI to organize your content automatically. No free tier.
Collaboard - oriented towards live collaboration, but can be used for moodboards

Pinterest is always nice to browse around! Just that when it comes to downloading batch reference it took so much time....yikes!
image size and resolution quality is a problem too
Miro looks like a nice and neat one to have around office, thank you!

Sorry I think i didn’t make myself clear
I wish to collect inspirations and organize all my graphic assets (formats like JPG, PNG, PSD, XD, AI, FIG....)as well like what Pixa does
don’t know if there’s a tool that can do both collecting images online and organizing my own files
and turn them all into a mood board?
preferably support graphic files, tagging and giving files keywords and browser extension
stores files on the cloud would be a plus
thank you!

Wow thank you for your detailed review!
I think raindrop and mymind’s layout are very nice! especially mymind’s AI is really a plus, would love to see how it works when putting it into my workflow
only downside is it seems like a bit pricey and doesn't support many formats

I also found these tools while doing the research
https://geticonjar.com/
https://inboardapp.com/
https://en.eagle.cool/
for those who are looking for pixa alternatives can give it a try too
I personally tried Eagle and it looks like Mymind with lesser ai
support lots of graphics files and even videos/audios/fonts batch saving from website and tagging/ folder features
one-time payment is a plus too

FWIW, I just saw that WeTransfer Pro offers a mood board like app called Collect. I have not tried it out, but I thought I would mention it.
