Roam's new Backend

Interesting discussion about Roam’s backend. The current one was designed for rapid deployment, but now it is clear that they need something more robust to support a mobile app, API, speed, etc.. They have a new backend working in-house but need to iron out how to make the transition before it goes live for everyone:

I’ve really thrown myself into Roam and prefer to stick with them rather than switching to something else (Obsidian, Mem, Hypernotes, Noteplan, etc.), so I really hope that this new backend can deliver on Roam’s potential.
