Inspired by the My Life Organized question, I wondered if maybe you can help me remember this one.

I think I first got it on a Mac Performa (pre-OSX). Originally, it was a kind of expanded Stickies program, but with more word processing functions (word count). Was it in fact StickyNotes? Then it expanded into a far more involved time management system and I lost track of it. Consultant? That was one of my first big conversion projects, and at first, I found it a lot of fun. I do think it started with a C.

This is just idle curiosity, but I'm guessing with all the Mac folks here, someone else used it. I remember being dazzled by how pretty it was.

I found MORE. And even used a simplified two pane outliner for awhile called Z-Write. Ah, the forgotten ones....

Back in the late 80s I knew someone who ran a small company on a Macintosh SE (Mac OS 6 I think) that used a sticky notes app which let you basically comment on any document in any app, and he used it as a quasi-CRM and for notes on sales. Can't remember the name. I vaguely recall him having a crash that corrupted the app's file database, which caused a lot of problems.

He later abandoned it for Borland's Reflex Plus database.

Also, there was a Mac app called C.A.T.: Contacts, Activities, and Time.

Found it. StickyBrain by Chronos. Apple's own Notes program largely superceded it. (StickyBrain didn't do syncing with iCloud or DropBox, although it used to sync to my Palm.) I seem to recall it had a fancy iteration after the version I used, which I didn't buy.
