I know that some of us monitor BdJ for PIM bargains, and thus this warning.
Very recently, I downloaded an offering. After virus testing it, I began to install it. Kaspersky Internet Security warned me that the setup program was trying to install a hidden file whose activity could not be monitored by anti-malware software. (Luckily, I had not yet paid.)
I sent a comment about this to BdJ, but the comment was not posted, nor was it replied to. In the past, BdJ posted comments, both positive and negative. It appears that it has changed this policy.

As far as I know, BdJ comments are published normally. My own recent comments on TVzation ( http://www.bitsdujour.com/software/tvzation-ii/ ) were published immediately, without moderation.
However, I did notice that something appears to have changed either in the BdJ website’s javascript, or my own recently upgraded Zone Alarm. As a result, with ZA running I could not post comments (I could write a text and press the button but nothing happened), nor could I buy a product (I got an error during redirection) regardless of browser used. Temporarily switching ZA off solved the issue.
I’m quite certain that BdJ is not in blame, because I ran into the problem in a couple of other websites that I have used regularly in the past, as well.
