Wow, @Stephen Zoli, how do manage to find such great apps with obscure names?! :) I am also playing with Dashword and it seems to be the best replacement for Tree. I hope that the developer keeps on developing Dashword. It is off to a great start!

I spend way too much time hunting around for interesting apps.

I agree that the app is really in Alpha, though for the price (free) I’m willing to give it some slack. The intro document in the app lists key-commands but they are not available from the menus, which is a user-unfriendly (and un-Maclike) design choice, apparently related to his decision to make it ‘compatible’ with 50 languages in various App Store locales.
Since it’s simultaneously available for Windows and its 93Mb size I assume it’s an Electron app.
Hard to tell how often it’s updated. Can’t find that info on the Mac App Store page, which usually has it.
Here’s to hoping the developer continues with development and polishes the rough edges

From my obserations of the Mac App Store I’ve concluded that when there is no update version date/info it means there has only been an initial release and no subsequent ones.

I believed that as well, but the MAS download is v. 1.2.37 and I suppose I’d expected something closer to v1.0
